DESCRIPTION

The LA Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3 GTX is the third generation of one of the Trentino brand's most popular trekking shoes, refined over time to meet the needs of those who tackle long and challenging routes on varying terrains: from compact trails to mixed surfaces, up to rocky high-mountain sections.

Construction and waterproofing

The upper is made of ripstop fabric, light yet tear-resistant, and integrates a GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort membrane: the Extended Comfort version ensures superior breathability compared to standard GORE-TEX, reducing foot overheating during prolonged outings, without compromising waterproofing. The ePE (expanded Polyethylene) technology replaces traditional PTFE with a bio-based material, which is more sustainable and equally high-performing.

Sole and grip on terrain

  • Vibram® Mega-Grip outsole with deep lugs for traction on mud, wet grass, and rock
  • Midsole with Impact Brake System for progressive impact absorption on descents
  • STB Control System structure that stabilizes the heel and reduces ankle fatigue on long descents
