DESCRIPTION

The TX4 Evo Woman GTX is a leather approach shoe with a waterproof GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, designed for female alpinists and climbers who tackle technical approaches on mixed terrain, scree, and exposed trails. The GTX version adds water protection without compromising breathability, making it suitable even in variable weather conditions.

Construction and materials

The water-repellent treated Nubuck leather upper ensures robustness and abrasion resistance, with generous internal volumes designed to adapt to the morphology of the female foot without pressure points. The anatomic EVA footbed provides cushioning throughout the approach, while the upper's structure offers lateral support on uneven terrain.

Sole and rock performance

  • Vibram® Mega-Grip sole with high-friction compound for reliable grip on wet and dry rock
  • Front zone with a climbing shoe profile that allows engaging holds and edges on 3rd-4th grade sections
  • Rock Guard in TPU in the midsole for impact protection and increased structural rigidity
  • Padded tongue and precise lacing system for a secure fit over the instep

It is the ideal choice for those undertaking long and technical approaches to climbing walls, where a shoe is needed that performs as a hiking boot on the approach and a climbing shoe on the first vertical sections, all while keeping feet dry even on damp scree or high-altitude traverses with residual snow.
