DESCRIPTION

The TX4 EVO ST is La Sportiva's approach shoe designed for those tackling technical approaches on via ferratas, rocky trails, and mixed terrain, where precise foot placement is as important as material durability. The breathable synthetic upper material ensures good air circulation even on the hottest days, while the structured construction protects the foot laterally on exposed sections and uneven rock.

Construction and Technologies

The cushioned EVA midsole absorbs impact during long descents, reducing fatigue on the joints. The lacing system allows for quick and precise fit adjustment, adapting the shoe to the foot's volume without having to re-tie knots with every change of terrain. The heel is reinforced for better stability on traverses and slabs.

Sole and Grip

The Vibram® MegaGrip compound sole offers a high coefficient of friction on both dry rock and wet surfaces, making it reliable even in variable weather conditions. The patented Impact Brake System™ integrates a specific braking zone into the tread geometry for downhill slopes, reducing forward slipping and improving foot control. The sole profile is designed to effectively shed weight even on gravel and scree.
