DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Skwama Woman was inspired by the scaly skin of a snake: each scale adapts independently to the terrain, and the same principle guides the construction of this climbing shoe. The result is a climbing shoe with extremely high sensitivity, capable of transmitting every variation in the rock directly to the foot, without filters.

Construction and materials

The upper is made of synthetic suede that does not deform over time, ensuring a consistent fit even after numerous sessions of use. The closure features a double Velcro system that allows for precise adjustment and a snug, asymmetrical fit, with the toe pointed downwards to maximize pressure on holds. The Slipper construction with an elastic tongue eliminates the need for lacing and facilitates quick donning between climbs.

Sole and technical performance

  • 3.5 mm Vibram XS Grip2 rubber sole, formulated to offer high friction on both dry rock and indoor surfaces
  • P3 Rand (Permanent Power Platform) that maintains the shoe's asymmetrical downturn over time
  • Highly asymmetrical and downturned profile, optimal for indoor and outdoor overhangs and technical slab climbing
  • High longitudinal flexibility thanks to a sole structure designed to expand contact points on tiny footholds

It is the ideal choice for female climbers who frequent climbing gyms and challenging crags, where heel precision, working on edges, and smearing reliability make the difference between completing or abandoning a move.
