DESCRIPTION

The Skwama Lite Woman are climbing shoes developed by La Sportiva for intermediate to advanced female climbers who seek high performance both in the gym and on the crag, without sacrificing comfort during extended sessions. Entirely produced in Italy, they stem from the same Skwama family but with a revised geometry: the curvature is moderately aggressive, and the toe box offers slightly more space than competitive versions, making the shoe wearable for several consecutive hours without the typical discomfort of competition shoes.

Construction and Materials

The upper is made of synthetic microfiber, which ensures a stable fit over time without the excessive stretching typical of leather, maintaining precise fit even after many outings. The closure is entrusted to a double velcro system, allowing quick and precise adjustments between attempts. The internal lining is absent in the toe area to enhance foot sensitivity.

Technical Features

  • Vibram XS Grip2 sole, a soft compound with high grip on resin, slabs, and volumes
  • Sole thickness of 3.5 mm in the front area to maximize tactical sensitivity
  • P3 (Permanent Power Platform) system integrated into the insole to maintain active curvature over time
  • Molded EVA midsole for structural support in the heel
  • Specific female last with a narrower forefoot and an arch adapted to the morphology of the female foot

The slightly downturned profile makes them effective on small edges, pockets, and compression moves, while the Vibram XS Grip2 sole ensures reliable grip on both synthetic resin and limestone. A solid choice for those who regularly climb at intermediate levels and are looking for a session shoe that does not compromise technical precision.
