The La Sportiva Akasha II is the second generation of trail running shoe designed for those who tackle extreme distances: ultramarathons, ultra-trails, and prolonged training sessions on variable terrain. Compared to the original version, this model features a technical and aesthetic re-design, maintaining the identity of the Mountain Running® line but with an updated architecture to meet the needs of those who are on the move for hours.

Cushioning and comfort for the long haul

The Akasha II's strong point is its Cushion Platform™ cushioning system, a footbed insert designed to distribute energy return across the entire support surface, reducing muscle fatigue in the final stages of a race or extended training. The sole's geometry promotes a fluid heel-to-toe transition, essential when accumulated kilometers begin to weigh on leg muscles.
