DESCRIPTION
The Karpos Pluvia Jacket is a lightweight waterproof shell designed for summer hiking and trail running at altitude, where weather conditions can change rapidly. Its fit is designed to allow full freedom of movement, even when worn over a mid-layer.
Construction and elemental protection
The fabric is a 2.5-layer, 100% recycled polyester, 115 g/m², a light weight that contributes to the jacket's overall lightness. Waterproof protection is guaranteed by a water column of 10,000 mm, sufficient to handle moderate and prolonged rain typical of the summer alpine environment. Breathability is certified at 10,000 g/m²/24h, meaning that sweat produced during physical activity can escape without the jacket becoming stuffy. The DWR water repellent treatment is free of intentionally added PFAS, a choice that meets the latest environmental standards without compromising the water-shedding performance of the outer surface.
