The speed sensor attaches directly to the wheel hub, while the cadence sensor attaches to the crank arm, both using silicone straps that make installation quick and reversible.
Technology and compatibility
Data transmission occurs via dual Bluetooth and ANT+ protocols, ensuring compatibility with Garmin cycling computers, smartphones with the Garmin Connect app, and any third-party ANT+ device. The speed sensor self-calibrates using the GPS of the paired device, eliminating the need to manually enter the wheel circumference. The declared battery life reaches approximately 12 months with a single CR2032 battery, and a status LED indicates connection status and remaining charge level.
