The Alien X #3/4 by FIXE represents the sixth generation of one of the most iconic cams in climbing history, with its first patent dating back to 1986 in Colorado. Designed for thin cracks and precise placements, it retains the DNA of the original micro cam while updating it with superior materials and finishes.
Technology and Construction
The cams feature the new X-grip texture, a machined surface that significantly increases grip on rock compared to previous versions, reducing the risk of slipping even on wet granite or compact limestone. The stem is made of stainless steel, which ensures torsional rigidity and corrosion resistance in humid or marine environments. The trigger has been redesigned to offer more precise single-finger management, crucial when operating with one hand on demanding sequences.
