The FIXE Alien X represents the sixth generation of one of the most iconic micro cams in climbing history, originating in Colorado in 1986 with the first original patent. This evolutionary version retains the technical spirit of the historical design, bringing concrete updates in terms of materials, grip, and functionality.
Technology and Construction
The cams feature the new X-grip texture, a milled surface that significantly increases friction on rock compared to previous versions, improving hold even on damp or dusty cracks. The cam profile has been optimized to ensure homogeneous load distribution on the crack walls, reducing the risk of unintentional rotation in delicate placements.
