Its light weight makes it a practical choice for those who need to manage long pitches without adding bulk to their pack, while maintaining the mechanical strength required for the most challenging situations.
Technology and Construction
The rope incorporates Edelrid's THERMOSHIELD technology, a thermal treatment applied to both the core and the sheath that increases abrasion resistance and reduces moisture absorption. This translates to stable performance even with a wet rope or in cold conditions, where untreated ropes tend to stiffen and lose handling. The sheath is woven with a high percentage of coverage to protect the core from wear on the edges of protection and plates.
