The Crazy Jacket Avenger is a hybrid hooded jacket designed for medium-to-high intensity ski mountaineering and mountaineering outings, where a padded insulator would be too warm but protection from the elements remains essential. It solves the classic dilemma of balancing protection and breathability on windy and dynamic days.
Construction and Materials
The main body is made from Endurance soft shell fabric, which combines wind resistance with good breathability, and is treated with a DWR water-repellent finish to repel light rain and wet snow without compromising breathability. Strategic inserts — placed in areas requiring greater ventilation and movement — are made from a soft, highly breathable material that promotes body heat dissipation during prolonged uphill efforts.
