DESCRIPTION
Black Diamond's Hybrid Light was created for those who go mountaineering, technical trail running, or cycling in the shoulder seasons, when temperatures are cool but not freezing, and weather conditions remain variable. It is a 3-layer stretch softshell glove, designed to offer a real balance between protection and breathability, without compromising finger mobility.
Construction and materials
The back of the glove uses a 3-layer softshell fabric that guarantees resistance to wind and light precipitation, while maintaining adequate breathability even during prolonged efforts. The palm is lined with thermal fleece, a technical choice that improves thermal comfort during breaks and descents, reducing heat dispersion in areas in contact with equipment. The stretch construction ensures an anatomical fit that adapts to the natural movement of the hand.
Usage and ideal conditions
The Hybrid Light is designed to withstand wind, light precipitation, and moderately cool temperatures, making it suitable for scenarios such as autumn hiking, spring ski mountaineering, or high-altitude aerobic activities. Its light weight makes it suitable for use as a primary glove in intermediate seasons or as an additional layer in combination with over-mitts in more challenging conditions.
