DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond 18mm Nylon Runners are nylon sewn slings designed for everyday use on the wall: from building anchors on natural protection to extending quickdraws on winding routes, to slinging spikes and trees. The 18mm width ensures excellent load distribution and reliable mechanical strength in critical situations.
Construction and material
The sling is made of high-tenacity nylon, sewn with reinforced stitching to ensure durability even with intensive use. Compared to equivalent Dyneema slings, nylon offers greater residual elasticity and better abrasion resistance, features that translate into longer life in real-world conditions — rough rock, humidity, friction with carabiners.
