The Rando's structure complies with BEAL's construction standards for alpine safety ropes, featuring an abrasion-resistant sheath designed to withstand contact with snow, ice, and bare rock. Its low weight and reduced 8 mm diameter make it easily transportable in a backpack without penalizing the load, a fundamental characteristic on mountain outings where every gram counts.
Use in Mountaineering and Ski Mountaineering
The 30-meter version is suitable for teams of two or three people on glaciers or for protecting short technical sections during challenging hikes and ski mountaineering outings in glacial environments.
