DESCRIPTION
The SKI TRAB Gara WC Titan + ST is a racing ski mountaineering binding designed for those who compete or seek performance at the limits of the weight/function compromise. Built and assembled in Bormio, it represents the synthesis of SKI TRAB's artisanal tradition applied to high-level competitions.
Structure and Materials
The toe piece is made with a titanium wire structure, which guarantees torsional rigidity without adding unnecessary weight. The jaws work independently of each other, offering selective elasticity and constant retention force even on uneven snow or in conditions of intense vibration. The World Cup version features a titanium U-spring, which further improves elastic response compared to the standard version, reducing false releases during technical descents.
Heel Piece and Safety System
The heel piece integrates lateral rotation for release in a slide, which is fundamental in a race context where every fall counts. The multifunctional ski stopper plays a dual role: it locks the ski in case of release and transforms into a heel lift for ascents, eliminating the need for additional components. A compact solution that reduces the total weight of the system without sacrificing operational safety.
