DESCRIPTION
The CT Sirio is an in-mould technical helmet designed for those who move on rock, ice, and mixed terrain, where lightness and protection must coexist without compromise. The in-mould construction combines a polycarbonate outer shell and EPS foam into a single structural body, achieving a strength-to-weight ratio difficult to attain with traditional technologies.
Protection and structure
The lower profile of the shell is deliberately extended, a design choice that broadens side and temple coverage compared to conventional helmets: in disciplines such as mountaineering and ice climbing, where debris can come from oblique trajectories, this detail makes a difference. The wrap-around design and adjustment system ensure stability even during sudden movements, preventing annoying oscillations on the wall.
Ventilation and comfort
The large ventilation openings promote constant airflow, reducing heat dispersion during challenging ascents in warm conditions. Its light weight also makes it suitable for long outings, where cervical fatigue can become a critical factor. The Sirio is compatible with the use of headlamps thanks to integrated clips for attaching the elastic band.
