DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Solution is a sport climbing and cragging harness designed for intense and prolonged sessions, where comfort cannot be sacrificed for lightness. The proprietary Fusion Comfort technology integrates three low-profile webbing strands directly into the fixed leg loops and waistbelt, distributing the load over a wider surface area and reducing pressure on sensitive points even during extended hangs on bolts.
Technology and Construction
The leg loops are fixed and pre-formed, a choice that guarantees an immediate anatomical fit without the need for continuous adjustments. The ventral attachment point is reinforced and covered with abrasion-resistant material, designed to withstand intense cycles of falls and moving carabiners. There are four gear loops, with an easy-open snap closure for quick insertion of quickdraws and protection, even with one hand.
Who it's for
The Solution is aimed at those who frequent crags regularly and tackle multi-pitch routes or redpoint sessions on high grades, where hanging on the harness for long periods is the norm. The combination of a generously padded structure and a relatively compact profile also makes it suitable for high-volume indoor climbing. It is not the lightest harness in the Black Diamond range, but it offers a solid balance between lasting comfort, safety, and operational practicality in demanding contexts.
