The Black Diamond Heavyweight Screentap Gloves are technical gloves designed for outdoor activities in cold conditions that require frequent use of touch-screen devices: cross-country skiing, winter trail running, hiking, and light mountaineering. Their distinguishing feature is the ability to interact with smartphones or GPS devices without taking off the gloves, thanks to capacitive display-compatible fingertips.
Construction and Materials
The back of the hand is made of heavyweight stretch fleece, warm and elastic, laminated with a water-repellent nylon outer fabric that protects against wind and surface moisture. The palm is entirely covered with non-slip material, ensuring a secure grip on poles, ropes, or wet surfaces. The stretch construction follows the natural movement of the hand, reducing fatigue during prolonged use.
