The Salewa Puez 2.5L Powertex is a ripstop shell jacket designed for alpine hiking, developed and tested directly in the Dolomites. The 2.5-layer construction combines robustness and weight containment, making it a reliable companion for those traversing exposed trails or moving at high altitudes with variable weather conditions.
Technology and Performance
The heart of the jacket is the Powertex membrane, which guarantees waterproofing up to 10,000 mm water column, sufficient to tackle intense and prolonged rain in a mountain environment. Breathability is adequate for moderate physical activity, preventing moisture accumulation during ascents. The ripstop outer fabric offers abrasion and tear resistance without adding unnecessary weight.
