The PETZL Sarken Leverlock Universel is a 12-point technical crampon designed for ice and mixed climbing, where precise placement is as crucial as grip. The vertical, serrated front points ensure effective penetration into hard ice, while maintaining good stability on consolidated snow or mixed terrain.
Geometry and Spike Distribution
The arrangement of the 12 points is designed to offer grip on varied terrain: from low-angle glacier slopes to steep, high-inclination walls. The geometry guarantees stable support regardless of the terrain angle, reducing muscle fatigue during long ascents.
Attachment System and Compatibility
The Leverlock Universel system allows the crampons to be adapted to boots with a front welt or a rigid heel, making them compatible with a wide range of technical mountaineering footwear. The front lever closure and adjustable rear strap ensure quick and secure installation, without tools. The structure is made of stainless steel, which offers corrosion resistance and durability over time, even in conditions of prolonged humidity.
