Montura's Vertigo 3L Jacket is a hardshell designed for technical mountaineering and the most severe weather conditions. The heart of the garment is the proprietary Prometeo 3L membrane, a three-layer construction that guarantees 20,000 mm waterproofness and high breathability, eliminating the separate inner lining to reduce overall bulk and weight.
Technical Construction and Materials
The 3-layer structure combines the outer fabric, the membrane, and the inner lining into a single laminated sandwich, making the jacket lighter, more responsive to movement, and easier to dry compared to 2.5-layer solutions. The seams are fully taped to prevent leaks even in heavy rain or snow. The DWR treatment on the outer surface ensures immediate water repellency, preserving the fabric's breathability properties over time.
