DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Tarantula is a neutral-fitting climbing shoe, designed for those taking their first steps on rock or regularly frequenting the gym. The flat, symmetrical shape adapts to a wide range of foot morphologies, reducing fatigue during prolonged sessions and making the learning curve more gradual for beginners.

Construction and materials

The upper is made of breathable synthetic leather, combined with an anti-sweat tongue that protects the foot from direct contact with the inner lining: a solution particularly appreciated by those who practice in the gym and prefer not to wear socks. The traditional lacing system allows for precise and personalized adjustment of the fit, easily adapting to narrow or wide feet without constricting.

Sole and performance

  • 4mm FriXion® Black sole: increased thickness compared to performance versions, which translates into greater durability over time and the ability to absorb the technical errors typical of beginners.
  • Neutral, low-heel shape, without downturning, which ensures comfort even after hours of continuous use.
  • Flat last structure suitable for sport climbing routes, indoor bouldering, and gyms.

With this aesthetic update, La Sportiva has kept the technical characteristics that made the Tarantula a benchmark in the entry-level segment unchanged, renewing its appearance to meet the tastes of a new generation of climbers.
