DESCRIPTION
The Synth Light Longsleeve is a long-sleeved thermal shirt designed for high-intensity aerobic activities in cold weather: winter trail running, ski mountaineering, snow cycling, or fast hiking. Its strength lies in actively managing the body's microclimate, not just simple insulation.
Fabric technology and thermoregulation
The body of the shirt is made with our proprietary Knit_Tech™ fabric, a variable-density knit structure that changes characteristics based on anatomy and areas of higher heat production. Where perspiration is most intense – armpits, back, lumbar area – the weave becomes more open and lighter, promoting maximum air exchange. In areas exposed to drafts, however, the density increases to retain body heat. The result is a dual thermoregulating effect: the body breathes where needed, and insulates where necessary.
Fit and construction
- Anatomical cut that follows the male morphology in motion, avoiding folds and friction under backpack straps
- Body-fit designed to work as a first layer under a shell or softshell
- Long sleeve with flat-lock construction to reduce skin irritation during prolonged outings
