Application and dust control
One of the main advantages of this solution compared to loose chalk is the significant reduction in dust dispersion: the sock retains the carbonate and releases it only under direct pressure on the palms, limiting accumulation on holds and in the surrounding environment. This makes it particularly suitable for indoor climbing gyms, where regulations on the use of chalk are often restrictive, but also outdoors where excessive dispersion can ruin the quality of natural holds.
