The Contour Guide Pure 135 mm are ski touring skins made of 100% pure mohair, a technical choice that prioritizes glide over synthetic fibers. Mohair guarantees lower active resistance during ascents, resulting in significant energy savings on long trips and substantial elevation gains.
Construction and adhesive system
The attachment system uses traditional hot-melt adhesive technology, which is proven and reliable in variable snow conditions. The glue is formulated to maintain a solid grip on the ski base throughout the ascent, while also ensuring clean and effortless detachment at the end of the outing. This balance between grip and reversibility is particularly appreciated on multi-step outings, where the skins are removed and reapplied multiple times.
