DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Helmet Holder is a removable accessory designed to carry your helmet directly on your backpack, freeing up internal space and making the helmet immediately accessible during activity. It attaches to the outside of the backpack via a dedicated fastening system, compatible with a specific selection of models from the SALEWA range.
Compatibility and assembly
The helmet holder integrates seamlessly with SALEWA backpacks equipped with the appropriate attachment points. Supported models include:
- Randonnée 36, 32, and 30 BP — ski touring and alpine trekking backpacks
- Sella 26L and 24L — compact hiking backpacks
- Ortles Wall 32 and 38 — climbing and via ferrata backpacks
- Ortles Guide 45 — extended capacity mountaineering backpack
Practical use
Attaching the helmet to the outside of the backpack is the most efficient solution in contexts where the helmet is frequently put on and taken off: rock approaches, hikes with equipped sections, ski touring with frequent transitions. The helmet holder prevents compression of the backpack's internal volume and keeps the load stable during transport. Accessory sold separately, to be paired exclusively with the specified SALEWA backpacks to ensure correct compatibility of the attachment system.
