The La Sportiva Supercouloir Tech Gloves are technical mountaineering gloves designed for those tackling ice climbing, dry tooling, and challenging couloirs, where tool control is paramount. The anatomical profile follows the natural curvature of the fingers, reducing fatigue during prolonged sessions with ice axes and ice screws.
Construction and materials
The palm is constructed seamlessly, a design choice that eliminates friction points and ensures direct tactile sensitivity, crucial when handling an ice axe grip on mixed terrain or vertical ice. The integrated grip ensures hold even in wet and intensely cold conditions. The knuckles are protected by SuperFabric panels, a composite material with high abrasion resistance capable of absorbing impacts and chafing against rock or ice without adding excessive bulk.
