DESCRIPTION
Ortovox Haute Route 30 S is a technical and versatile ski touring backpack, designed for those who take on long ski traverses and are looking for a reliable companion even for the most demanding outings.
The name is no coincidence: the Haute Route has existed practically since the beginning of ski touring excursions, and this model represents Ortovox's tried-and-tested classic for the longest traverses.
The construction uses Cordura® polyamide yarn and double-layer 420D Oxford polyamide, which make the backpack extremely abrasion-resistant. The PU coating on all fabrics also ensures water-repellent protection.
The fit is managed by the ergonomic O-FLEX-2 back system, featuring an integrated S-stabilizer and load control straps. The side fins attach inside the back system, wrapping around the back ergonomically and distributing weight evenly between the hips and shoulders for the entire duration of the outing.
The S (Short) version is equipped with a shorter back system, designed specifically for shorter individuals.
In terms of organization, the Haute Route 30 S offers:
- High capacity to carry all necessary equipment
- Front and back access to the main compartment, to reach contents at any time
- Separate safety compartment for quick access to emergency equipment
