DESCRIPTION
The Atomic Backland Expert W ski touring boot is designed for those who refuse to compromise between lightweight uphill performance and downhill precision. With a low weight thanks to Grilamid construction, this boot combines an upper that is rigid enough to transmit forces during carving while maintaining a fluid and natural range of motion when walking.
Motion and Closure Technology
The Free/Lock 4.0 system allows switching from ski to walk mode with a single gesture, locking the cuff in the forward position for descents and fully releasing it for ascents. Thanks to the Frictionless Pivot mechanism, articulation occurs without friction, reducing muscle fatigue on long climbs. The closure is managed by 3 micro-adjustable aluminum buckles and an internal lacing system that ensures a precise and adaptable fit, even with thick technical socks.
Fit and Compatibility
- 98 mm last, designed for the female foot in terms of volume and upper geometry
- Ultralon thermoformable liner for a personalized fit after a heat molding session
- GripWalk and MNC compatible sole, with a Vibram rubber front zone for optimal traction on both ice and mixed terrain
