DESCRIPTION
The Stratos Hybrid is the direct result of combining race technology with the most advanced material engineering available in competitive ski mountaineering. The lower shell is constructed from Grilamid Bio Based LF Carbon™, a high-performance composite that ensures torsional rigidity and precise response during the push phase, while maintaining a low weight. The upper cuff is made of full carbon fiber, handcrafted in Ziano di Fiemme, directly derived from the Stratos VI line: a monocoque structure that transmits every impulse without energy dispersion.
Technology and mechanisms
The integrated ski-walk mechanism allows for a smooth transition between ascent and descent modes, with a sufficient range of motion to tackle steep slopes without compromising walking. The upper closure system ensures a precise and adjustable cuff lock, essential for maintaining control during technical descents.
