The SALEWA Wildfire NXT Knit is a high-performance approach shoe designed for those who alternate long approaches on trails with technical climbing sections. The seamless knit fabric upper eliminates pressure-causing seams, ensuring a snug and consistent fit throughout the day. The toe reinforcement made of Matryx® fiber — a composite material with high abrasion resistance — protects the areas most subject to wear without adding unnecessary stiffness.
Support and Precision System
The Wildfire NXT Knit integrates the latest version of the proprietary 3F (3-Fit System), developed internally by SALEWA to offer an anatomical fit across three zones of the foot: forefoot, arch, and heel. Heel stabilization is particularly well-addressed, reducing internal micro-movement during steep descents, while the sole geometry allows for high precision at the toe when climbing on slabs or using small footholds.
