The The North Face Summit Verto Apex Gore-Tex are three-season alpine boots designed for those who tackle technical high-altitude terrain: from challenging trekking to rock climbing, to guiding activities on mixed alpine terrain. The medium volume performance fit ensures a precise and responsive fit, designed to transmit every ground feedback without sacrificing comfort during prolonged outings.
Construction and protection
The upper integrates the Gore-Tex membrane, which ensures certified waterproofing and continuous breathability even in the most variable weather conditions typical of the alpine environment. The boot's structure is designed to respond to the lateral and vertical stresses of rock climbing, maintaining adequate torsional rigidity for technical terrain.
Sole and traction
The tread is entrusted to the Vibram® MONT sole with exclusive The North Face geometry, one of the most appreciated solutions in alpine environments. The 5.5 mm lugs offer aggressive traction on gravel, wet grass and loose ground, while the contact surface is optimized to maximize grip on compact rock, where the precision of foot placement is crucial.
