The Mammut Crater IV HS Hooded Jacket is a 3-layer hardshell jacket designed for those who face variable weather conditions in the mountains, from seasonal trekking to light mountaineering, without sacrificing a more responsible approach to the environment.
Technology and materials
The heart of the jacket is the GORE-TEX ePE membrane, completely PFC-free, which ensures high waterproofing and breathability by eliminating the fluoropolymers traditionally used in DWR treatments. The 3-layer construction combines the outer fabric, the membrane, and the inner liner into a single compact structure, which reduces overall weight and increases durability over time. The result is a lightweight and highly compressible jacket, suitable for being stored in a backpack without taking up valuable space.
