DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Body Blue is a complementary chest harness specifically designed to be paired with the Petzl Macchu full body harness for children. Its main function is to raise the center of gravity during suspensions, preventing forward inversion that can occur when a child is suspended with only a sit harness.
Technical Function and Compatibility
The tie-in system acts at the chest level, redistributing retention forces to keep the torso in an upright position even during prolonged periods on the rope. This makes it essential for rock climbing, climbing gyms, and via ferratas suitable for children, where suspended positions are frequent. The Body is exclusively compatible with the Petzl Macchu harness and not with other models in the range.
Fit and Adjustments
