DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Denali III is a double-wall dome tent designed for three people, suitable for three seasons: spring, summer, and autumn. The dome structure ensures excellent stability even in windy conditions, thanks to its geometry that evenly distributes forces across the arch of the poles. The double-wall system separates the breathable inner layer from the waterproof outer fly, reducing condensation inside the sleeping compartment and keeping the environment dry even after humid nights.
Construction and Protection
The outer tent is made of nylon with a waterproofing treatment that ensures good resistance to precipitation, while the reinforced floor protects against wet ground and abrasion. Taped seams in critical areas prevent leaks even during persistent rain. Perimeter pegs and guy lines allow for proper tensioning of the structure and improve its wind resistance on varying terrain.
Interior Space and Portability
The interior offers enough space for three people with minimal luggage, and the front vestibule allows shoes, backpacks, and wet gear to be stored without occupying the sleeping compartment. The light weight makes the Denali III suitable not only for multi-day trekking but also for cycling tours and excursions where backpack weight is a critical factor. Assembly with interlocking poles is quick and requires no tools, a practical detail when arriving at the tent at the end of the day with low light.
