DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Friend 2.0 is the new generation of Wild Country's iconic twin-axle camming devices, considered the most advanced tool in any climber's rack.
The cam design has been redefined in detail to ensure superior performance:
- 13.75° cam angle for maximum holding capacity
- Hollow twin axle and milled lobes that minimize the risk of the Friend getting stuck
- Flow Cord with a seamless core-to-sheath construction for smooth, snag-free extension
The range expands with the twin-axle 0.3 size, while the size 4 integrates a symmetrical and preloaded lobe closure mechanism.
The distinctive feature of the Wild Country Friend remains the combination of the thumbloop and the extendable sling: a solution that reduces the need for additional quickdraws, minimizes rope drag, and decreases the potential for the Friend to walk into the crack.
