The Wild Country Friend 0.75 is a new generation dual-axle camming device, a benchmark in climbing equipment and an undisputed essential in any climber's rack.
This evolution of the iconic Wild Country Friend introduces concrete technical improvements to every key component:
- 13.75° cam angle for maximum holding power
- Hollow dual axle and milled lobes that increase holding power and reduce the risk of the Friend getting stuck in the crack
- Flow Cord with a seamless core-to-cover construction, for smooth and snag-free extension
The distinguishing feature of this generation is the combination of the thumbloop and the extendable sling: a design that reduces the need for additional quickdraws, minimizes rope drag, and decreases the potential for the device to walk into the protection.
Within the updated range, the 0.3 size is now available with a dual axle, while the size 4 integrates a symmetrical and preloaded lobe closure mechanism.

Nylon and UHMWPE outer sheath, developed to resist cuts and abrasion, with a UHMWPE core for mechanical strength.
