DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Friend 0.4 is a new generation double-axle camming device, considered among the most advanced tools in any climber's rack.
The new generation of cams introduces significant technical improvements over its predecessors:
- 13.75° cam angle for optimal holding power
- Hollow double axle for a lighter and more efficient structure
- Milled lobes to maximize holding capacity and reduce the risk of snagging
The new Flow Cord features a seamless core and sheath structure, ensuring smooth, snag-free extension during use.
The distinguishing feature of the Wild Country Friend is the combination of the thumbloop and the extendable sling. This system:
- Reduces the need for additional quickdraws
- Minimizes rope drag
- Decreases the potential for the device to walk into the crack
The 0.3 size with a double axle is now available within the range, while the size 4 integrates a symmetrical and pre-tensioned lobe closing mechanism.
