Construction and access
The front opening allows access to the contents without rummaging from the top, a practical solution when you are at the base of a route and need to retrieve gear quickly. The two ergonomic shoulder straps allow it to be carried comfortably like a backpack, distributing the weight on your shoulders during approaches.
Integrated tarp system
The strong point of the Combi 2 is its integrated 145 × 90 cm protective tarp, which unfolds on the ground to insulate the rope from mud, gravel, and moisture. The ends of the rope are directly attached to the tarp, so they don't tangle and are ready for the next progression. This system drastically reduces rope wear from contact with abrasive surfaces.
