DESCRIPTION
The Petzl RIG (repairable version) is a compact descender designed for experienced rope access professionals working daily in difficult access conditions and for technical rescue.
Compared to the standard version, this variant has been developed for those who face intensive use or seek a more durable solution: the cam shape is more robust to reduce wear, and the device is available in a repairable version.
Ease of use at every stage of the work:
- Quick rope installation thanks to the guide and markings on the device
- Ergonomic handle that ensures good grip and excellent control during descent
- AUTO-LOCK system that allows the user to position themselves at the work site without having to use the handle or tie off the rope
- Easier passing of intermediate anchors thanks to the openable side plate, which allows the device to remain connected to the harness during the maneuver
- Automatic return of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of accidental snagging during transport
