DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA VIA Ferrata DST Gloves are technical gloves designed for via ferrata climbing, where a secure grip on the wire rope must coexist with finger mobility and abrasion resistance. The construction in polyamide with added elastane (Durastretch fabric) guarantees high mechanical resistance without sacrificing elasticity: the glove adapts to the hand without creating creases or pressure points even during the widest movements.
Construction and materials
The anatomical pre-shaped form reproduces the natural curvature of the fingers in a gripping position, reducing muscle fatigue on longer outings. The reinforced palm protects the areas subject to the most wear when in contact with stirrups, cables, and rock holds. The PFC-free DWR treatment repels water and light moisture, keeping the fabric dry in case of sudden rain or wet rock, without resorting to perfluorinated substances.
