The Salewa Pedroc SW DST Wind Pant is a hybrid softshell pant designed for dynamic mountain activities, from speed hiking to light ski mountaineering, even in the most variable weather conditions. Its construction is based on a combination of fabrics selected to balance mobility, protection, and active breathability.
Hybrid Construction and Wind Protection
The main body of the pant is made from Durastretch, a four-way stretch material that ensures full freedom of movement even during the most demanding ascents. The thigh zones are reinforced with Stormwall softshell panels, a waterproof and windproof technology developed by Salewa to offer maximum protection in areas most exposed to gusts and moisture, without sacrificing flexibility. This hybrid approach allows for better thermoregulation compared to a traditional softshell, dissipating heat in high-mobility sections.
