The SALEWA Cristallo Beanie is born from a particularly sophisticated knitting process: the finest Merino wool yarn is wrapped around a structural nylon core, creating a hybrid fiber that combines the natural softness of Merino with the resistance and elasticity typical of synthetic fibers. The result is a lighter, more durable fabric that is also more responsive to thermal variations than a classic pure wool beanie.
Technology and Construction
Flat seams eliminate pressure points on the scalp, essential during prolonged use under a ski or climbing helmet. Responsive thermoactive technology dynamically optimizes heat management, adapting the fabric's thermal response based on the intensity of physical activity.
