The Stelvio is SKI TRAB's ski mountaineering glove designed for those seeking warmth, practicality, and comfort during mountain excursions. Its 5-finger Polartec fabric construction ensures an anatomical fit and good dexterity, while maintaining effective thermal insulation even in the coldest conditions.
Construction and Materials
The palm is reinforced with leather inserts that increase wear resistance in high-friction areas, while also improving grip on poles and tools. The 140 gr Leveloft padding provides effective thermal insulation without adding excessive bulk. The integrated touch system allows for the use of touchscreen devices without removing the glove, a useful detail for consulting GPS, smartphones, or altimeters while on the move.
Padded Cover and Versatility
The Stelvio's strong point is its removable padded cover which transforms the glove into a modular system: it can be removed during more demanding ascents to promote breathability, while providing immediate additional thermal protection during stops or descents.
