DESCRIPTION
The Speedcross 6 Gore-Tex is the waterproof version of Salomon's iconic trail running shoe, designed for those who don't let mud, rain, or the toughest autumn and winter trails stop them. Compared to the previous generation, the shoe has been lightened while maintaining the same aggressive performance that made this silhouette famous.
Construction and Waterproofing
The upper incorporates a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, which guarantees complete waterproofing and superior breathability compared to standard membranes, crucial during prolonged efforts. The Quicklace lacing system allows for tightening or loosening the fit in a single motion, even with gloves on.
Sole and Grip
The strong point of the Speedcross 6 remains the Contagrip MA sole with 6 mm deep lugs, oriented to maximize traction uphill and braking downhill. The updated profile has been designed to shed mud more quickly than version 5, reducing build-up underfoot during sessions in wet and heavy terrain.
