DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Wildfire NXT is an approach shoe designed for those who traverse long stretches of trail before tackling a climb, without wanting to change footwear when they start climbing. The door-to-summit concept translates into a single solution that effectively covers both phases, without obvious compromises in either direction.
Upper Construction
The upper is made of Matryx® reinforced with Kevlar® fibers, a combination that eliminates traditional seams in favor of a continuous and integrated structure. This approach reduces preferential wear points and improves adaptive fit on the foot, while maintaining superior abrasion resistance compared to conventional textile materials. The result is an upper that combines the flexibility needed for hours of walking on the trail with the precise fit required for climbing movements.
