DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Sella Free 20L backpack is born from alpine experience in the Dolomites and meets the specific needs of ski mountaineering and freeriding on technical slopes. The name is not accidental: the Sella couloirs and classic Dolomite freeride lines inspired a geometry designed for dynamic movement with skis on.
Carrying system and fit
The heart of the backpack is the Dry Back Contact system, which creates a ventilation channel between the back and the back panel, reducing perspiration during long ascents with skins. The anatomical waist belt and ergonomically shaped shoulder straps distribute the load evenly and, above all, do not restrict torso rotation during kick turns or descents in fresh snow. For a woman moving on steep terrain, this freedom of movement is not a detail: it is what distinguishes a functional backpack from one that hinders.
