DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Puez Gore-Tex® 3 Layers EPE is a women's shell jacket designed for those who tackle hikes and alpine tours in variable weather conditions. The heart of the jacket is the 75-denier 3-layer Gore-Tex® fabric made from recycled yarn, bluesign® certified, which guarantees waterproofing and breathability without compromising the sustainability of the materials used. The DWR water-repellent treatment is completely PFAS-free, in compliance with the latest environmental standards.
Technology and construction
The membrane used is the new Gore-Tex EPE (Expanded PTFE Evolution), which, compared to previous versions, offers superior breathability while maintaining unchanged weather protection. The 3-layer structure fuses membrane and lining into a single composite, eliminating the separate inner lining: the result is a lighter and more compressible jacket, easily storable in a backpack when conditions improve. The seams are heat-sealed to prevent water infiltration even at the joints.
