DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Pedroc 3 Durastretch Light Pant is a softshell pant designed for high-intensity mountain activities, from rock climbing to fast alpine excursions, as well as technical hiking on challenging terrain. The main fabric is Durastretch, a four-way stretch material that combines abrasion resistance and high breathability, keeping the overall weight of the garment very low.
Technologies and protection
The outer surface receives a PFC-free certified water-repellent treatment, which provides protection from light rain and splashes without resorting to perfluorinated substances that are now considered problematic for health and the environment. These are not fully waterproof pants, but an effective solution for the variable conditions typical of days at high altitudes. The athletic and ergonomic cut with pre-shaped articulation reduces fabric tension during dynamic movements such as high steps, mantling on rock, or progressions on steep terrain.
